Upon recommendation of Prof. Georgios Anastassakis,on behalf of Dr.
Konstantinos Aravossis (National Technical University of Athens,
Greece), Dr. Valentin Chanturiya (Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian
Federation), Dr. Ioannis Chatjigeorgiou (National Technical University
of Athens, Greece), Dr. Douglas Fuerstenau (University of California,
United States), Mr. Christos Kavalopoulos (Greek Mining Enterprises
Association, Greece), Dr. Cyril O'Connor (University of Cape Town, South
Africa), and Dr. Vladko Panayotov (Bulgarian Academy of Science,
Bulgaria), co-chairs of the Anastassakis International Symposium on
Sustainable Mineral Processing: Principles, Technologies and Industrial
Practice (10th Intl. Symp.)
(), in my capacity as
President of SIPS 2024 (Sustainable Industrial Processing Summit), I am
personally inviting you to participate as an author/speaker dedicated to
honoring the lifetime achievements of Prof. Georgios Anastassakis. Prof.
Anastassakis is a very well-known professional with deep impact in
Sustainable Mineral Processing: Principles, Technologies and Industrial
Practice. This major symposium focuses on modern process mineralogy
(refractory and complex ores, etc.), sustainability and extractive
industry, new processes/technologies in mineral processing and
extractive metallurgy, strategic and REE minerals processing, energy
efficiency and sustainable development, economic aspects in mineral
processing, and battery recycling. These and many others are among the
topics of the symposium.

This symposium will be held as part of SIPS 2024, an annual
multidisciplinary summit, organized by the not-for-profit corporation
FLOGEN Stars Outreach ( [2]), which is dedicated to
achieving sustainability through science and technology applied in
various fields. It incorporates summit plenary lectures from well-known
speakers that address the link between various domains in the pursuit of
sustainable development, as well as specific scientific symposia
featuring specialized presentations in a specific domain, with the same
goals in mind. The symposium and overall summit will be held in Crete,
Greece from October 20 - 24, 2024 in Out of the Blue Resort with the
participation of numerous Nobel Laureates and many Distinguished Guests.
It features about 50 scientific and technology symposia covering various
distinguished fields. Academics, Engineers, Managers, Directors, CEOs,
Medical Doctors, Lawyers, Economists and Politicians will also be
participating.

The papers will be double peer reviewed and published in the official
Publication entitled: "Anastassakis International Symposium (10th Intl.
Symp. on Sustainable Mineral Processing)" containing ISBN and ISSN
numbers and indexed by Google Scholar joining the existing 3000 SIPS
articles (). Furthermore, many papers upon
significant will be subsequently published as part of special volume of
relevant Journal dedicated to this symposium.

As an invitee, if you prefer to deliver a presentation with a wider
scope for one of the listed topics, or on a new specialized topic of
your choice, we would be pleased to take it into consideration for a
possible nomination as an Invited or Keynote Lecture.
