Prof. E. Georgoulis in the committee of Research Excellence Framework 2021, UK
Professor from NTUA鈥檚 School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences has been appointed as Panel Member in the Mathematics Sub-Panel of the Research Excellence Framework 2021 (REF), with the role of expert to evaluate the UK鈥檚 research in Numerical Analysis. REF is the evaluation process of research in UK Higher Education Institutions, taking place every 7 years ( ). The final assessment and evaluation report of each REF Paneldetermines both the research ranking of every UK Higher Education, as well as the direct government funding of each academic Department/School for the next 7 years. REF Panels are comprised of highly regarded and widely respected experts in the UK.
