Pritzker Architecture Prize 2023 to Sir David Alan Chipperfield CH – An event at the NTUA School of Architecture, 23 May 2023
The Pritzker Architecture Prize in collaboration with the National Technical University of Athens, will present the architect (Pritzker Prize 2023) on Tuesday 23 May at 3.40 – 6.00 pm, in a lecture on: "The Role of Practice" , which will take place at the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens, Patission Complex, Averof Building, Kaftatzoglou Room. There will be a parallel transmission in Amphitheaters A002 & A008.
The following will participate online in the event: the School of Architecture of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Department of Architecture of the University of Patras, and the School of Architecture of the Technical University of Crete.
Alejandro Aravena, President of the Jury and 2016 Laureate, will introduce the architect David Chipperfield and will present a brief overview of his work. The lecture will be followed by a discussion between David Chipperfield and previously awarded architects Diébédo Francis Kéré (Pritzker 2022), Anne Lacaton and Jean-Philippe Vassal (Pritzker 2021).
