According to the , the National Technical University of Athens ranks #347 worldwide.

NTUA ranks #1 among the Greek Universities followed by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in positions #444 and #530, respectivelly.

This year鈥檚 QS rankings has expanded its evaluation criteria, including sustainability, employment outcomes, and international research network.

The NTUA鈥檚 position in the ranking worldwide is steadily improving, since last year鈥檚 position in #422, and #454 in 2020. The strong and systematic efforts of NTUA to improve its performance in these areas are paying off. However, this position in the World University Ranking does not reflect the real potential of NTUA鈥檚 human resources, and especially its students, and is a challenge for its significant improvement. The priority of the university to extroversion and outreach activities and the intensification of internationalization and global networking, the upgrading of studies and the optimization of administrative procedures will bring higher rankings.
