Chemical Engineering Chem-E-Car team ranked high in international competition
The is an undergraduate student competition annually organized by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). was held in Orlando (Florida, USA),in the opening of the ‘ on the 10th of November.
The Chem-E-Car competition concerns the design and construction of a small, shoebox size, carpowered by a chemical energy source that will safely carry a specified load over a given distance and stop.
Greece is represented by the university team that wins the regional, among the other Chemical Engineering Departments,Chem-E-Car competition. was held in Athens as a side event of the ‘’ę.
The 2019 winner of the regional Chem-E-Car competition was the team ‘ʴDZܳ’&Բ;of the of the NTUA.This team participated at the final competition in Orlando and achieved the 5th position. The trip expenses of the team were covered by the (SNF).
