New Postgraduate Program from the National Technical University of Athens "Ship Performance Analysis and Management"

The Senate of NTUA, at its meeting of 07/03/2025 (3rd/2025), approved the establishment of the new Postgraduate Studies Program (MSP) "Ship Performance Analysis and Management", an initiative of the School of Naval Architecture and Mechanical Engineering.

 

The Ship Performance Analysis and Management program aims to train scientists, mainly engineers, in subjects related to operation of ships and their optimal management by exercising a holistic inclusion of the multitude of operating systems during their operation.

 

The thematic subjects of the Postgraduate Program concern the introduction and in-depth study of issues related to the analysis and management of ship performance, as recognized in the modern scientific and technical practice of the maritime community. In particular,  they will involve cutting-edge technologies in shipbuilding and related sciences. Particular emphasis will be given to the integration of knowledge based on new scientific data, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) objects and the impact of the results of the climate crisis.
